This old high-wheeler sports 80-inch drivers with inside slide valves. Next to her are inside-connected 0-6-0s. To those of us brought up on a more or less standardized diet of steam locomotive architecture, the myriad combinations of inside- and ouside-connected, valve gears, and odd wheel arrangements truly amazes.
